Guesthouse a 10 Minute Walk to Downtown
Be our guest in our downtown guesthouse! Just 6 blocks to Main Street and downtown Bozeman, our second-story guesthouse has everything you need to enjoy a night or a week in Bozeman. Perfect for a couple, this architect-designed, open-concept studio features radiant floor heating, a full-size bathtub, a washer and dryer, dishwasher, and a 300 sq ft second story outdoor patio. We are pet friendly (with a fee). Your private backyard space is fenced in and features a charcoal grill.
The guesthouse is a second-story apartment above our downtown Bozeman garage. It's detached from the main house, where we live with our daughter and two dogs. This 600 square foot studio is perfect for a couple or a couple with 1 or two children. Inside you'll find a queen-size bed and a pull-out Queen sofa bed, a bathroom complete with a full-size tub and shower and a washer/dryer, a living room with a 50" smart television, a dining area, bar seating at the kitchen, a dishwasher, ice maker, and gas range.
The guesthouse is on the second story with an exterior stair. Street parking is ample.
We’ve designated a private, fenced-in yard for the guesthouse so you can let your pup out for some fresh air by just opening the door.
In the yard, there’s a full-size Weber charcoal grill for guests to use.
The guesthouse has its own WiFi so you’ll have no problem working remotely, even while streaming music or video.
You will have access to the entire guesthouse apartment and the patio. It is on the second floor above our detached garage. You will not have access to the garage. There is a small, fenced-in area for you to let your dog out off-leash.
We live in the main house, so we will usually be around if you need us. However, we do aim for you to have privacy and enjoy the space, so we won't come over without an invitation unless the space needs attention in some way.
We do utilize the garage that's under the apartment, so you may see us coming and going.
Your 300 square foot patio overlooks our backyard, so you may see us outside, eating on the patio or enjoying a fire in the fire pit in the summer, or shoveling snow in the winter.
We always enjoy meeting our guests, so please feel free to say hi or join us if you'd like.
The Northeast Neighborhood is where you want to be in Bozeman. A 15-minute walk will get you to every restaurant, shop, or brewery you need to see while you're in Bozeman:
Dave's Sushi, the Coop downtown, Montana Ale Works, Bozeman Brewing Comany, Wild Crumb bakery, Fink's Deli, the Emerson Center for Arts & Culture, Seven Sushi, Wildrye Distillery, Dean's Zesty Booch, Hey Day, Hattie Rex, Ted' Montana Grill, Plonk cocktails, the Bacchus Pub, and Chalet Sports.
If you're heading up to ski at Bridger Bowl, we're on the way. Swing by The Daily Coffee Bar for a latte and a breakfast burrito on your way.
There's plenty of on-street parking in our neighborhood. It's both safe and quiet while still being close to everything.
You're a walk or a bike ride away from downtown, the Cannery District, and the eateries on the Northside.
If the weather is inclement, Bozeman has Uber and Lyft.
While we do have a free bus service, the Streamline, you may find that a car allows you more freedom.
The guesthouse is a half-mile from Main Street, 10 miles from Bozeman Airport, 16 miles from Bridger Bowl Ski Area, 45 miles from Big Sky, 85 miles to the north entrance to Yellowstone, and 90 miles to the west entrance to Yellowstone.
This is a dog-friendly guesthouse. If you need to borrow a dog bed, bowls, or leashes, we are happy to accommodate.
There’s a park at the north end of N Willson (walk north down the alley or sidewalk and you’ll see it at the end of the block) where dogs can play off leash from 6-9 am each morning.
The park also has a nice little kiddo sledding hill for the winter months. We’re happy to lend a sled if you’d like to play. And if you’re looking for a bigger hill to sled or ski, we’re happy to offer recommendations.
Please note that prior to your arrival, we will verify your identity. We'll also collect your choice of a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver.
This property is registered and licensed with the State of Montana and Gallatin County and managed by Tessa Witmer, Licensed Montana Property Manager (RRE-RPM-LIC-109282).

Check-in/checkout times:
Check in time is at your convenience, anytime after 4 pm. Check out time is 11 am.
We are unable to guarantee early check-in times as we are often cleaning up after the previous guests up until your arrival time. If you’d like to drop your bags, we can accommodate this after 12:00 pm on the day of your arrival. Upon request, we also can message you when the property is clean and ready for you.
Unplanned late checkouts will be charged $50 per hour. We’ll give you a 10 minute grace period before the charge is incurred. While this may seem strict, we’re just passing on the charges we incur from our cleaning team when they have to wait for you to depart before they can begin cleaning (they are very prompt).
Thank you for understanding.
Upon checkout, we ask that you:
1. Start a load of towels on a normal cycle.
2. Run the dishwasher containing all dirty dishes (except knives and cutting boards, which should be hand-washed).
3. Place all garbage and recycling in their respective cans in the kitchen. If you’d like to take your trash and recycling out during or after your stay, the bins are in the alley. Recycling should be emptied from the bag. Please view our guide in the guesthouse regarding Bozeman’s unfortunately limited recycling capabilities.
4. Remove all your personal belongings.
