Hector's Restaurant and LoungeWe called ahead to make sure it was ok to bring our small 40lb, very well mannered and trained dog. They said yes as long as the dog stays near the outside fence. We were fine with that and figured they just wanted to keep the walkways cleared. Turns out that dogs aren't allowed AT ALL on the property because our dog had to stay completely off of the property, no paws on the outside seating porch, in the wet grass, on the other side of their chain link divider. Then, when we arrived, they told us that the dog wasn't allowed to stand up at all! What the hell! If we had known we would have gone somewhere else but they were the last place open in the area that claimed to take dogs and we were new to the area. The hostess said that someone's dog barked at a waitress because she was wearing a mask. Even if that was the case she could see very clearly as we stood there that our dog had no problem with masks or taking direction.
We will not go back. The menu is overpriced and limited in options anyways. If your looking to grab a drink there are plenty of other options nearby that we missed because we are new. Just fine a place that has a porch (most do now because of COVID) and give them a call. Chances are they will say yes even if they aren't listed here.

Super friendly to dogs and owners!
405 Pub & GrillWe wanted to go out late one night. This place wasn't listed but we decided to give it a shot. They welcomed us and our dog with open arms. We have been back several times since and the staff is always super friendly. We ended up with a pile of dog treats by the end of the first meal as passing waitresses place them gently on our table without interrupting our conversation, just to make sure we got one. If you don't want to receive a treats just leave it on the table so they can see you are all good. Took us a minute to figure that out.
Love this place and will keep going back!
